Still working out the logistics of getting proper lighting, but I have a few new Photos for everyone.
Any feedback is appreciated.

It like the shrimp!!! What kind of lighting do you have on the system? If you would like to lose the tannins from the driftwood pick up a bag of Purigen and throw it in your canister or HOB, it willl be crystal clear in a day. The HC will take some time to come in, most of those great tanks with it were grown submersed and filled once they filled entirely in. We have a ton of shrimpkeepers here in Houston and are always loving to see more tanks, swing over to the Houston Fish Box.
Thanks for the tip, I will look for some purigen when I am out today. I set up an account on HFB as well, it seems like a pretty strong and active community. I wish there were more shrimp keepers here in Austin but it is good to know there is a community not to far away.
Yeah Tim (armthehomeless) breeds and ships shrimp and snails all over, only a day to Austin
I picked up the Purigen at Big Al’s, they sell it in the pouch. Otherwise its hella small and hard to get media holders for. Seachem makes it and one bag will last forever as you can regenerate it with bleach.
Yeah I believe Aquatek sells it as well, going to check today.
