I assume you have another shipment coming in? Once you’ve got a nice amount breeding I’ll be happy to take a few off your hands, lol. Glad to see they are doing well. We have a huge piece of Malasian root in with our Fahaka and found cherries in there and its been months since I had seen one
Yeah I have a shipment arriving Monday and approximately 20 days until my berried female hatches.
I have some Sukura Orange shrimp in the same tank as the OEBTs but I only see 1 or 2 at a time, I am convinced the rest are hiding in there.
Its funny as I have a 10 gallon heavily planted tank and it has 150+ cherries and 4-5 2″ Amanos and you’ll rarely ever see them. The Amanos are just huge and have learned to grab the Shirakura and run up to the upper levels to hoard it. How are your Orange shrimp at accepting the water parameters in the OEBT tank? They are the neocardinia, another variant related to cherries? Mine love the liquid rock that comes out of my faucet (8.0) and breed like crazy.
They are a cherry variation, and they have only been in there about a week, when I do see them they are fairly active and none of the 8 I have are dead, so well enough. I mainly got them because they are supposedly just as hardy as the cherry shrimp and the color provides a nice contrast with the blue shrimp.
